1. Who we are
LubraLabs LLC (“LubraLabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Pennsylvania limited liability company that develops and publishes software and games, including STBForge, Maximum Front, and Gallito (together with this website, the “Services”). LubraLabs LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@lubralabs.com or by phone at 412-790-8862.
2. The short version
- Our products are paid games and apps. We do not show ads and do not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
- Payments are handled by Apple, Google, or Valve (Steam). We never receive your card details.
- We collect as little information as we can, and only to provide and support our products.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing contact@lubralabs.com.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email or call us, we receive your email address or phone number, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to tell us, such as a support request or feedback.
Information from our website
This website is a simple informational site. It does not use advertising cookies or require an account. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time, in server logs used for security and reliability.
Information from app stores
When you buy or download one of our products, the store (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Steam) may share limited information with us, such as aggregated sales and download reports, country or region, and crash or performance reports that the store collects under its own settings. These reports generally do not identify you personally.
Information our products process
What each product handles depends on the features you use. See the product-specific details below.
4. Product-specific details
STBForge
- Media sources you add. Playlist links (such as M3U/M3U8), portal addresses, guide (EPG) links, and related login details you enter are stored locally on your device. STBForge connects directly from your device to the sources you configure. Those sources are operated by third parties, not by LubraLabs, and their own terms and privacy practices apply.
- Favorites and settings. Favorites, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
- YouTube and other streams. When STBForge detects or plays YouTube or other streams from your sources, the content is loaded from those services, which may collect information under their own privacy policies.
- AI Companion. The AI Companion is a smart search feature that runs on your device. It searches the channels, movies, series, radio stations, YouTube links, and guide data from the sources you have added. It does not send your requests to LubraLabs or to a third-party AI provider. For Stalker/Ministra portal sources, your search terms may be sent to that portal so it can return matching titles.
- Voice search. If you use voice search, STBForge asks for microphone permission and uses your device’s built-in speech recognition (for example, Android or Windows speech services) to turn your speech into text. Depending on your device and settings, that service may process your audio on the device or send it to its provider, such as Google or Microsoft, under their own privacy policies. LubraLabs does not receive or store your voice recordings. Spoken replies use your device’s built-in text-to-speech.
- Movie details. To show movie descriptions and posters, STBForge may look up a movie’s title on Wikipedia, or on The Movie Database (TMDB) if you add your own TMDB API key. These requests go directly from your device to those services, and your API key is stored only on your device.
Maximum Front
Maximum Front is a single-player real-time strategy game. It currently has no online or multiplayer features and does not connect to LubraLabs servers. Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. If we add online play or Steam features in the future, we will update this policy before they launch.
Gallito
Gallito is a 2D game for mobile devices. Game progress and settings are stored on your device. Gallito’s shop uses in-game coins that you earn by playing. There are no real-money purchases in Gallito, and the game has no chat feature.
Online play. Gallito’s online features (quick match, public rooms, ranked play, and cloud progress) run on a Nakama game server that LubraLabs operates on Railway, a cloud hosting provider that stores and processes this data for us. When you use online features, Gallito sends the following over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection:
- A guest account ID. The first time you go online, Gallito creates a random ID on your device and uses it to create a guest account. It is not your phone’s hardware ID or advertising ID. The server gives the account an automatically generated username.
- Optional account details. If you choose to create an account, you provide an email address, a password (stored by the server in hashed form), and a display name, so you can sign in and keep your progress on other devices.
- Game progress. Coins, the Gallitos you own and their health, recovery kits, your equipped Gallito, daily-recovery timing, online wins and losses, and ranked rating are saved to your account.
- Match data. Room and match information, in-match game actions, and match results are exchanged with the server and your opponent to run the match, check results, and award coins and rating.
- Connection data. Like any online service, the server receives your IP address and basic connection information to connect you and keep play secure.
Your display name (or automatically generated username) is visible to other players in rooms, in matches, and on the ranked leaderboard, along with your ranked rating. Online play is optional, and you can keep playing offline.
5. Payments and app stores
Purchases of our products are processed by Apple, Google, or Valve (Steam). Those companies handle your payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. LubraLabs does not receive or store your credit card or other payment card details. Our products do not currently offer real-money in-app purchases. If we add them, they will also be processed by the store. We may receive limited transaction information from the store, such as a purchase confirmation, so that we can deliver what you bought and provide support.
Your use of a store or platform is also governed by that company’s policies:
6. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our products and website.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To fix bugs, improve performance, and keep the Services secure.
- To run online features you choose to use.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
7. How information is shared
We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, our email provider, and Railway, which hosts Gallito’s online game server and its database. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- App stores and platforms (Apple, Google, Valve), as part of distributing our products and processing purchases.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, LubraLabs, or others.
- Business transfers, if LubraLabs is involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
8. Data retention
Information stored only on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the product. We keep support emails and messages only as long as needed to help you and keep reasonable business records, and server logs only as long as needed for security and reliability. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
9. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete any personal information we hold about you, including any online player data, at any time:
- Email contact@lubralabs.com with the subject “Data deletion request.”
- Tell us which product you use. For Gallito, include your display name and, if you created an account, the email address on it, so we can find your online account. We will delete your Gallito account, cloud progress, and leaderboard entries.
- We will confirm your request and delete the data within 30 days, except for anything we are legally required to keep.
Data stored only on your device, such as STBForge sources and settings or local game saves, can be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. Purchase records held by Apple, Google, or Valve are managed by those companies under their own policies.
10. Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age set by law in your country). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us at contact@lubralabs.com and we will delete it. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will delete it promptly.
11. EU and UK privacy rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, LubraLabs LLC is the controller of your personal information. We process it on these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the products and features you request.
- Legitimate interests: to support, secure, and improve the Services, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights.
- Consent: where we ask for it, such as for optional features. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to process information.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to our processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email contact@lubralabs.com. We will respond within one month.
12. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and to get a copy of it.
- Ask us to delete or correct your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
The categories of personal information we may collect are identifiers (such as an email address, display name, account ID, or IP address), account login credentials (a Gallito email and password, used only to let you sign in), internet or network activity (such as server logs and online match data), game activity (such as Gallito progress and match results), and the content of messages you send us. These come from you, your device, and the app stores, and are used for the purposes described in section 6. To make a request, email contact@lubralabs.com or call 412-790-8862. We will verify your request using the information you provide and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
13. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, and we design our products to keep as much data as possible on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International users
LubraLabs is based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. or in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice on this website or in our products.
